CHALLENGE:
Implement Workday, an enterprise cloud applications for financial management, human capital management (HCM), payroll, student systems, and analytics for a world-wide, 1,200 employee implementation. 3 formerly separate companies, with incompatible systems need to be able to manage Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Recruiting, Time-keeping, Finance and Projects, including employee access as one company.
APPROACH:

Created and managed project plan & project team from pre-delivery of service, through testing, acceptance and final integration.

Conceptualized and created current process flow to determine which could be eliminated/improved with Workday.

Involved in every step of the integration, from data migration, integration of Workday with 3rd party services (such as E-verify, Sterling Backcheck and others) to final acceptance testing.

Created training binders & training video with click by click tutorials for distribution to hiring managers.

Supported hospital-wide training of recruitment staff and hiring managers in the use of Workday for creating requisitions, managing candidate flow, making hires and transfer, promotion and termination of staff.

RESULTS:
Hiring process accelerated, with reduced new employee onboarding delays. Greatly enhanced employee access to self-service features, information linked from sale, through GL entry. Project Costing improved and greatly enhanced synergies as a result of data being accessible throughout platform.
