Simple compliance of all federal and state mandates requires a ratio of one HR professional per 100 employees. HR Gods can help “flesh out” your team as you grow.

HR Gods is a “roll up your sleeves and get to work” type of organization. We won’t spend a lot of time doing prep or research as we’re all Human Resource specialists with decades of experience. If you have a need, chances are we’ve resolved this before and will get right to work. Unlike other business to business consulting organizations, HR Gods provides unlimited meetings (face to face, online or phone) and support through our unique ticketing support system. We just keep working until the job is done to your satisfaction.

As a company grows, the HR department should also grow proportionately. That said, even smaller companies are charged with complying with all federal and state employment and discrimination laws no matter their size. Human Resources departments are responsible for this compliance. Therefore the level of expertise of a ‘personnel clerk’ twenty or so years ago, does not parallel the expertise once would need today. There are many companies with 500 employees or less who are faced with laws that only existed in the last 10 or so years.

In the last 5 years, the expectations that employers have for the services that Human Resources provides and the information that employees expect to have access to have both increased dramatically. HR needs to provide solutions so that employees are immediately satisfied. Setting these up cost time and money, but pay for themselves in the long run.

Examples:

  • 10 years ago, a job opening took up to 3 months to fill. Now, an aggressive HR department can fill that job in 2 weeks.
  • 10 years ago, a 3-day newspaper ad in the Boston Globe for a professional help-wanted ad could cost $10,000 or more. Now a successful ad campaign on Indeed.com can be had for $200.
  • 10 years ago, a request sent to the personnel department to change benefits took weeks, now the employee can view and make changes online in real time.

In summary, companies now have many more Human Resources related rules and regulations to comply and are expected to be service centers to employees. The solution is more technology and more people; both costly propositions. By ramping up services only for only as long as needed and then outsourcing these administrative functions, companies are paying for a service only when needed and are not burdened by more overhead costs.

With experience in project & change management, staffing & recruitment and dealing with the 1,000 things that can go wrong, chances are we can help you slay your dragons.
